A midwest native turned California gal, I’m a natural-born creative with an intense passion for curating experiential and immersive interior spaces. An entrepreneur at heart and armed with more than 20 years of experience starting and owning multiple interior design business ventures, I’m honored to have built an impressive list of clients that includes celebrity artists, musicians and interior designers, as well as private and commercial real estate investors, property management companies and restaurateurs. In late 2021, I teamed with Celebrity Designer and Netflix’s Queer Eye Designer Bobby Berk, where together we reimagined and transformed a 1950’s Spanish-style home named Casa Tierra—now a world class airbnb destination featured in Modernism Week 2022.
Inspired by the hotel to home movement, Hotelements was born from curating objects and elements that communicate my branded design work—Informing the property’s identity through personalization of a curated and immersive building revenue stream.

Mastering the tedious balance between luxury interior design and operational efficiency, my signature approach ensures a property’s identity is infused throughout defining a curated and immersive experience.

Paula is recognized as an expert in the growing business of luxury destination design. Her branded design garnered attention from Modernism Week in February of 2023, where she was the key speaker sharing the stage with Willis President, Dallas Gabriel for their annual Lunch and Learn event.
Paula was a speaker on multiple panels for the inaugural event of VRD Summit 2023, and was recently invited to join their core team to help grow as an Advisory Board Member to help grow this unique category of design in multiple markets across the country.
Vacation Rental Design Summit or VRD, was the first ever design event geared toward designers, hosts and owners who are interested in furthering education around this category of design. The second annual VRD Summit will be held this spring pre-High Point Market in April 2024.
